I’m Andrew Scott Zimmer (he/him), a journeyman theatrical artist. I have over 20 years of experience as an actor, director, playwright, composer, and musician. Although based in the DMV area since 2011, I have performed in a variety of areas — including New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and even Honolulu.

In theatrical settings, I’m equally at home in classical text, contemporary works, musicals, and even world premieres. Although I’m especially proud of the innovative Drive-Thru Drama program at the Alden Theatre (McLean, VA), for which I created three original pieces in a parking lot during the pandemic months of 2020, I am fond of all my directing work.
